ABOUT THE ROLE:

You'll be working in a hybrid model, based in the cozy city of Vilnius, contributing to the insurance sector as a DevOps Engineer. In this role, you'll help design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure to support mission-critical applications. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Design, develop, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and ensure consistent delivery processes.
Implement and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker/Podman, applying best practices for scalability, availability, and security.
Set up and manage tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Logstash for real-time system visibility and alerting.
Support infrastructure deployment and configuration on AWS or Azure (to be confirmed), following cloud best practices for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
Build tools and scripts in Python, Bash, or similar to automate repetitive tasks and increase system reliability.
Work closely with development, infrastructure, and architecture teams to integrate DevOps practices across the SDLC.
Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve system and deployment issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

3+ years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles, ideally with cloud experience (AWS or Azure).
Strong proficiency with GitLab CI/CD.
Practical experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Logstash, etc.
Solid knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash.
Understanding of cloud and DevOps security best practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work within agile, cross-functional teams.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Salary ranges (for Lithuania only): 4000 - 6500 gross (the given range is flexible and depends on your experience).
