About The Role

We are looking for an engaged and experienced Senior Windows Server technician specialised within IT-security to strengthen and develop our IT-infrastructure. In this important role you will play a central role in protecting our organisation from cyber threats and secure that our Windows server environment has the highest protection level.You will work with advanced security solutions including the Microsoft Defender suit and be a key resource in our team as responsible for external monitoring of the subject, technical security and security audits.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining security tools on the Windows Server platform, with a focus on Microsoft Defender
• Performing regular security reviews and participating in penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
• Monitoring external security threats, staying updated on the latest trends in cybersecurity, and sharing relevant insights with internal teams
• Participating in security assessments and collaborating with external auditors as needed
• Managing and organizing the response to security incidents effectively
• Ensuring security documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date
• Collaborating within the Windows team and across other teams to ensure security is integrated from the start
  
  

To Thrive In This Role, We Believe You Have

• Around 5 years of experience within IT-security and Windows administration
• Extensive Experience of Microsoft Defender
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and in team
• Analytic and problem-solving mindset
• Certifications within the area of security (for ex. CISSP, CISM) and Windows Server administrations (for ex. MSCE, MCSE) is meritorious
