Job Title: Vulnerability Management Specialist with Rapid7 Integration

Location : Amsterdam, Netherlands

Contract: 12 Months Contract

We are seeking a Rapid7 Integration and Vulnerability Management Specialist with hands-on expertise in deploying and managing Rapid7 security solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of integrating Rapid7 with various security platforms and tools (e.g., Cisco Kenna, Splunk, SIEM) to enhance incident response and security monitoring. This role requires strong knowledge of security operations, asset management, and the latest developments in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and integrate Rapid7 tools (InsightVM, InsightAppSec, InsightCloudSec) with existing systems and third-party platforms like Cisco Kenna, Splunk, and SIEM for seamless information sharing.
• Perform onboarding of assets, cloud accounts, and web applications into appropriate Rapid7 modules.
• Lead vulnerability management efforts using Rapid7 tools, including scan scheduling, report generation, scanner deployment, and asset tagging.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Rapid7-based risk and vulnerability monitoring strategies.
• Create Risk Meters and asset groups based on Cisco Kenna data.
• Manage API-based integrations for automation and enhanced reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Security, Operations) to ensure alignment of security tools with business objectives.
• Perform routine administration tasks such as user management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and system health checks.
• Maintain detailed documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides.
• Coordinate with vendors for support and resolution of technical issues.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and contingency plans to ensure business continuity during security incidents.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in IT security with a focus on threat and vulnerability management.
• Hands-on experience with Rapid7 InsightVM, InsightAppSec, InsightCloudSec.
• Working knowledge of integrations with Cisco Kenna, Splunk, SIEM solutions.
• Experience with API integrations and automation.
• Strong knowledge of asset management and vulnerability remediation processes.
• Experience creating and managing Risk Meters and asset groups in Cisco Kenna.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, security operations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
