DevOps Engineer

About the role:

We're hiring an experienced DevOps Engineer to join an international project supporting OutSystems platform adoption and DevOps transformation for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities:

• Define and improve DevOps practices for OutSystems implementation projects.
• Assess existing DevOps pipelines, identify improvement opportunities, and guide customers with tailored recommendations.
• Support implementation of automated testing and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define deployment strategies and ensure platform reliability.
• Evangelize best practices, provide mentorship, and contribute to internal and external knowledge sharing.
• Serve as a technical advisor for platform optimization, integrations, and performance tuning.
• Actively influence product development by routing feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Ensure high-quality documentation and project transparency across your workstreams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering roles.
• Proven expertise in CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills, particularly in PowerShell (Windows focus).
• Hands-on experience with application servers (IIS mandatory) and databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL).
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, New Relic).
• Solid foundation in Windows system administration (Linux is a plus).
• Very communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with OutSystems or other low-code platforms.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Understanding of network protocols, security, and authentication frameworks (OAuth, SAML, OpenID).
