Job Description:
"WebFolio resides in the middle of an ecosystem of applications that runs the Hedge Funds business for the bank. The product manager requirements are for the entire ecosystem.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product management.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of hedge fund activities, including investment research, due diligence, portfolio management, and risk management.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of portfolio management systems and associated technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate and influence stakeholders, with strong teamwork skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with experience guiding cross-functional teams.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (eg, Certified Scrum Product Owner) are advantageous.

Position Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Banking customer’s Technology team, dedicated to the Alternative Advisors business line. You will be responsible for managing technological solutions that address the full spectrum of needs related to hedge fund asset classes, employing a product-centric approach.
Your Team:
- Our client’s Technology & Operations Division designs and integrates software applications ranging from portfolio management systems and trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and fund administration services.
Your Mission:
- As a Product Manager specialized in Hedge Funds solutions, you will join our client’s team dedicated to the Alternative Advisors business line, where they develop and maintain custom-made applications and integrate COTS packages. Their applications currently run on premises, but we are transitioning to the public cloud, building new data pipelines using modern cloud-native technologies and leveraging SaaS business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Vision:
- Define and articulate the vision for hedge fund solutions based on market needs, business objectives, and technological advancements.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the strategic goals of the organization.
- Identify new opportunities by analyzing customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Product Development:
- Lead a cross-functional team through the planning, development, and launch phases of product initiatives.
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is detailed, estimated, emerging, prioritized, and well understood by the product team.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and engineers to define product requirements, prioritize features, and guide product development.
- Ensure hedge fund solutions are scalable, reliable, and effective.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the product team and business stakeholders.
- Communicate product strategy, roadmap, benefits, and outcomes effectively to all stakeholders.
- Gather and integrate feedback from key stakeholders and users to continuously refine product offerings.
Market and User Research:
- Conduct user research and usability studies to gather insights into user behaviours and needs.
- Translate insights into product features and improvements that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and analytics techniques that can enhance product offerings.
Performance Metrics and ROI:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and impact.
- Analyze product performance against ROI and KPIs to justify continued investment.
- Make data-driven decisions to improve product features and user experience.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in existing processes, staying informed about market trends and technological developments.
