Are you already working with and wish to become even better in Fortinet, HPE Aruba, and Versa Networks SD-WAN, Firewall and LAN/WiFi technologies? And you might already have experience in managing large IP networks and you are eager to evolve your skill set by working with these platforms and solutions with great colleagues, then we have an opportunity for you!
About Us
We are a Nordic team of highly skilled technical specialists responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our extensive portfolio of software defined and centrally managed secure overlay network platforms. We boast one of the fastest-growing fiber networks in the Nordics, with services like WiFi Access, LAN Access, Firewalls, and SD-WAN in high demand. To keep pace, we're expanding our team with an experienced network specialist/engineer. Does that sound interesting?
Our network plays a key role in the infrastructure in Scandinavia. To give it perspective, we cover more than 50% of Scandinavia’s internet connections including internet to hospitals, small, medium and big enterprise businesses, government functions, etc. Therefore, ensuring stability, security, and scalability of the network infrastructure will be super important and staying up to date with industry trends and new technologies to drive innovation and efficiency in the network environment.
Your Role
As a Senior Network Engineer, you'll spearhead technical service development for managed services and collaborate with a team of dedicated and skilled colleagues to create scalable and dynamic solutions. We focus on your personal and professional development, and it is important for us that you have access to learning material and sparring with colleagues across the Nordics, as we know the importance of having fun at work while learning and developing your skills.
Responsibilities
This is a social role with many internal contacts where you'll act as a knowledge sharer. Help lead the way in a constantly evolving network at one of Nordics' most expansive operators.
Who We Are Looking For
You have deep knowledge of IP networks, security, and wireless communication, with at least 3+ years of experience. You thrive in both hands-on and more technically strategic roles, and you're eager to propose innovative ideas and solutions. In general, we are looking for a nice colleague to join our team and someone who wants to learn but is also motivated by sharing and seeing the team grow.

- Interface with product management to align services with customer needs and best practices.
- Drive service development projects
- Develop and document services, ensuring platform ownership and life cycle management.
- Stay ahead of market trends and best practices.
- Lead design of platforms and technical solutions.
- Act as an expert, bridging organizational needs with suppliers.
- Ideally hands-on project experience working with SASE solutions.

- Expertise in network design and implementation for Wi-Fi, LAN, SD-WAN, and NGFW and excellent knowledge in switching, routing, and network automation.
- Strong knowledge of network security, including firewalls, SSL/VPN, IDS/IPS, and 802.1x.
- Experience in documentation and service descriptions.
- Hands-on experience and expertise with at least one of the following vendors like HPE/Aruba, Fortinet, and Versa.
