In this role, you will be joining one of the teams working on our freight management platform for electric transport. The platform includes systems for transport planning and charging management, integration with vehicles, chargers and 3rd party transport systems, as well as advanced capabilities for route optimization and energy prediction. We are looking for an enthusiastic, humble and creative Data Scientist who is passionate about creating state-of-the-art solutions to empower the transport industry to go electric.

As a Data Scientist at Einride you will work with stakeholders across the organization to identify business needs that can be formulated as machine learning or optimization problems, and together with your team design and build robust end-to-end solutions. You will:

• Identify business needs and translate them into analytical problems
• Design and implement solutions for machine learning and optimization problems
• Develop architecture for machine learning training pipelines
• Foster data science craftsmanship and mentor junior data scientists

We expect that you:

• Have a solid background in a quantitative subject, e.g., statistics, physics, mathematics, computer science or bioinformatics
• Are fluent in some programming language and its data and machine learning libraries, such as Python
• Have great skills in communicating model results to less technical stakeholders
• Are familiar with fundamental software development practices
• Are excited to dive into the details of electric transport

Ideally you also bring:

• Experience in implementing data science solutions on cloud platforms
• Experience in machine learning engineering

This position is full-time and based in Gothenburg or Stockholm. We recommend you submit your application as soon as possible as selection and interviews are held continually.
