Senior Magento Engineer

Our client is the fastest-growing global tobacco manufacturing company. An international corporation with over a hundred years of history, internationally recognized brands and Reduced-Risk Products.

Intellias' mission is to support its strategy and efforts in the Digital and e-commerce space (e-commerce and other apps mobile apps, payment gateways, loyalty system, search engine, employee management, identity management, etc.).

A newly conceptualized Digital Eco System is comprised of a set of capabilities including an online shop & website, linking online & offline, customization & personalization, engagement & membership, digital product & services main differences.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development with PHP
• 3+ years of professional software development with PHP 8
• 5+ years of professional software development with Magento 2
• 5+ years of experience on working with Laravel
• Strong experience in building/integrating REST services and a very good understanding of the HTTP stack
• Good experience in writing automated unit, functional, and integration tests
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, service-oriented architecture, Twelve-Factor App methodology, Semantic Versioning
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, strong knowledge of working with git-based versioning systems and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in LDAP/AD or any Identity provider, especially oAuth, OpenID, SAML
• At least 1 year of experience working in a Scrum team (even if initially new joiners will be working in PHP Squad, in the future they can join a product team that works in Scrum)
• Laravel Certification is a plus
• Ready to work with on calls duties, but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

Magento Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Magento-based e-commerce solutions.
• Customize Magento functionalities through custom modules and extensions.
• Optimize performance and scalability of Magento platforms.

Integration & API Development:

• Develop and maintain RESTful Web APIs and GraphQL endpoints to support both traditional and headless commerce architectures.
• Integrate Magento with third-party systems and services.

Nice to have - Full-Stack Development & Microservices:

• Utilize Laravel to build custom applications that complement the Magento ecosystem.
• Develop backend services using Golang to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Architect and implement microservices to enable a scalable and decoupled system design.

Collaboration & Mentorship:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance.

Quality Assurance & Best Practices:

• Implement coding best practices, version control, and automated testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development practices.
