Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

We are working with a client who is seeking a visionary, data-obsessed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to continue their evolution to beyond a fitness network and into a technology-led member platform.
As they scale across the region, your mission is to sculpt the digital backbone of their business: a seamless, intelligent, always-on ecosystem that fuels retention, engagement, and monetization.
You will own the end-to-end technology stack, including mobile and web platforms, subscription payments infrastructure, AI-enabled customer tools, and a world-class Customer Data Platform (CDP). You will not only lead technology, but also shape the future of how members interact —designing a "digital home" that amplifies their fitness journeys across physical and digital touchpoints.
You will be relentless about data integrity, obsessed with performance, and fuelled by ambition—benchmarked not just within fitness, but against the world’s best digital businesses. You'll drive smart efficiencies across the business, modernizing internal processes as well as external experiences.
Your role in the business will not be confined to tech decision making. You will be consulted and invited to partake in broad decision making as a business and will play an important role in steering the business forward, as part of the leadership Team. They are growing fast and they need someone who looks as much to the future as they do in the present.

Key Qualifications
- 10+ years of technology leadership in high-growth, consumer-facing businesses, ideally subscription-based.
- Experience leading complex tech infrastructure with a focus on near-perfect uptime and security.
- Deep understanding of customer segmentation, predictive analytics, and experimentation methodology.
- Proven experience with CDPs, data pipelines, martech integrations, and real-time decisioning systems.
- Grasp of behavioural marketing principles and their application in digital product and marketing environments.
- Ability to drive business-wide operational efficiencies through smart, scalable systems.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on technical fluency and exceptional leadership skills.
- Preferred Experience
- Industry background in fitness tech, consumer platforms, fintech, or media.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Segment, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Braze, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Track record of improving customer lifetime value (CLTV) and reducing churn through data and design.
- Deep interest in consumer psychology, habit formation, and behaviour-led engagement strategies.
