What You'll Be Doing

We are looking for a skilled Java Software Engineer to join our dynamic team with one of the biggest players in finance in the country. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic team member who is excited about engineering and has a personal interest in IT. Your willingness to grow professionally is the most important competence you bring. You will join Core Payments team.

The contract until the end of March 2025 with possibility to extend. We prioritise candidates who can join and start as soon as possible.

How You'll Spend Your Day

• Develop and enhance cloud-native systems that power core financial solutions.
• Take charge of technical decisions to drive trusted, innovative solutions.
• Work alongside business users and cross-functional teams for seamless integration and quality.
• Promote agile practices within your team and elevate standards in development.
• Work with Java, Kafka, gRPC, REST, NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, and more.
  
  

You'll be successful if you have

• Proficiency in Java with a solid understanding of Java development tools.
• 3+ Years of Experience in cloud-native systems design, development, and test automation.
• Proven experience in taking ownership of deliverables and guiding team competencies.
• Familiarity with messaging systems and integration patterns like Kafka and MQ.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an intermediate or higher English proficiency.

Salary

4600 - 5050 EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your competencies, skills, and experience.
