• Assist in designing, planning, and implementing network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network problems, including connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software malfunctions.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions for optimization and improvement.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to protect the network from vulnerabilities.
• Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps for easy reference and future maintenance.
• Provide technical support to users and train them on proper network usage and procedures.
• Stay informed about new technologies and trends in networking to enhance the organization's network capabilities.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network operating systems.
• Ability to analyze complex network issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work effectively with other IT professionals, including network administrators, systems engineers, and security specialists.
