Lead DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Deploy microservices in a CI/CD CodePipeline environment with scripting, testing, and backup processes
Define KPIs that are measurable and relevant for DevOps Engineers
Supervise automated builds using tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub
Establish and configure automated, real-time application monitoring systems
Analyze database logs and outline key system performance metrics
Maintain security and high availability for database systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance deployment workflows

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
At least 5 years of experience in DevOps positions
Background in cloud-based DevOps infrastructures
Understanding of essential DevOps principles such as security, scalability, and reliability
Familiarity with Kubernetes for deployment, setup, and configuration
Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins
Knowledge of Azure Log Analytics or similar monitoring platforms
Flexibility to operate effectively in an Agile environment
Competency in English communication—both verbal and written
Strong analytical reasoning and decision-making capabilities

Nice to have

Background in Active Directory and AWS environments
Understanding of Microservice Architecture Style principles
Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash
Skills in programming languages such as Ruby or Python
