Work Location: Buenos Aires, available for national and international travel.

Job Overview: Establish and run a PMO (Project Management Office) team, provide support for external turbine sales projects during bidding and negotiation stages, oversee project execution, and provide guidance and direction for the PMO, follow project management standards, processes, and best practices, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently. Further, ensure optimal utilization of resources and cost, help businesses achieve strategic objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Define, implement, and manage the PMO processes and policies that comply with business need.
  • Support sales team in competitiveness analysis, budget preparation and offer communication with clients.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the PMO team.
  • Coordinates projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of projects into a finished state.
  • Oversee project execution and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Support and supervise project managers and their teams, provide guidance, best practices, templates, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency in project management practices.
  • Support PTCI contractors offer negotiation, supervise PTCI contractor management.
  • Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
  • Risk management to anticipate, identify, and mitigate potential project risks before they occur.
  • Analyzing projects financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation, providing financial reports and budget outlines to Executives.
  • Control on costs and cashflow within the projects budget proactively driving down project costs and managing regulation variation.
  • Perform monitoring site visits during development, construction and operational phases per need.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with engineering background, or equivalent professional experience.
  • More than 8 years’ working experience. At least 3 years working experience as project manager or PMO manager in the wind industry.
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, PRINCE2 or similar certificate may be advantageous.
  • Stakeholder management skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and team members.
  • Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving capabilities.
  • Positive interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, hardworking, responsible, committed, flexi ble and curious team player.
  • Fluent/advanced in both Spanish and English.
