A prestigious global consultancy located in Antwerp seeking a Junior Power BI Analyst for a significant engagement with a major Engineering client.

Our client is enhancing its data-driven decision-making capabilities through strategic investment in self-service Business Intelligence. The Data & Analytics team seeks a Junior BI Analyst to join their mission of transforming operational data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Integration & Management: Collect, cleanse, and integrate critical data from diverse source systems to create unified datasets
• Visualization Development: Create intuitive and impactful Power BI dashboards that transform complex data into clear visual narratives
• Operational Insights: Conduct detailed deep-dive analyses of operational metrics to uncover efficiency opportunities and performance trends
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with business teams to understand their analytical needs and deliver tailored reporting solutions
• Data Quality Assurance: Maintain exceptional data integrity throughout the analytics lifecycle with rigorous validation protocols
• Business Value Creation: Identify and communicate data-driven opportunities that directly impact operational excellence and decision-making
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek ways to enhance reporting methodologies and visualization techniques
• Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to building the organization's analytical capabilities through documentation and best practice development

Skill Required:

Technical Skills (Must Have):

• Minimum 1 year experience in Power BI.
• Minimum 1 year experience with (ANSI) SQL and creating SQL views.
• Understanding of Kimball methodology (facts & dimensions).
• Experience in data warehouse modeling.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, architecture, and processes.
• Experience in planning, designing, and building data warehouse solutions using tools like Cognos or Datastage.

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Databricks (1 year).
• Experience with DBT (1 year).
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with data warehouse components such as ETL, reporting & analytics, databases, and metadata.
