Your Responsibilities:

As a Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in continuously improving and extending the innovative vehicle inspection solution. You will bring fresh ideas to the table and transform new business concepts into actionable technical requirements. Working within a small, agile team allows you to tackle a diverse set of challenges. Key responsibilities include:

• Translating new business ideas into technical requirements and producing detailed technical specifications.
• Designing, developing, and testing well-structured code optimized for performance and reliability, ensuring it runs smoothly 24/7 in production environments.
• Implementing quality assurance practices, adhering to coding standards, and integrating with automatic checking tools to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Deploying updates continuously, and collecting feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate and improve the product.
• Collaborating closely with team members, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the development cycle, from initial design to deployment.

Looking For:

A Backend Engineer with a passion for innovation and a proactive mindset. You should be a supportive team player, often finding that your contributions elevate the entire team's performance. Ideal candidates will possess:

• Background and experience in Back-End engineering in production environments.
• Proficiency in using code management and version control tools, such as GitHub.
• Extensive experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• A strong understanding of software testing, and the best practices throughout the software development life cycle.
• A keen interest in exploring new technologies and a drive to stay on the cutting edge of software development.
• Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cloud systems and serverless architectures, especially AWS, is desirable.
• Experience with the technologies listed in our software stack is advantageous.
• Low level and Linux OS experience is an advantage.
• Ability to integrate HW sensors to our python code is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
