Python Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Python Developer with strong expertise in microservices architecture and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Cloud Run. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure microservices and play a key role in building and optimizing data-driven applications and services in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based microservices using modern frameworks and design principles.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using GCP Cloud Run.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, QA, etc.) to deliver features in an Agile environment.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined delivery and deployment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in Python development, cloud platforms, and microservice architectures.

Essential Skills

• Strong Python programming skills, with proven experience building microservices.
• Proficient in containerization using Docker, and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and GCP services.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and access patterns.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Cloud Build).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and self-motivation to work in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver (Cloud Monitoring).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
