We’re Searching For “The Most Talented Backend Developer Team Player” in Turkey

MARS is looking for a talented and ambitious Backend Developer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the future of neobank sector in Turkey.

If you are passionate about software development, thrive in a fast-paced culture, and are excited to contribute to an innovative brand that will shape the financial sector, we’d love to meet you!

Experiences;

• Preferably BSc degree in Computer or Software Science.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend systems.
• Experience in PHP7+ versions. (PHP8 experience also nice to have).
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, key-value stores and search engines (MySQL and Redis preferred).
• Experience a project that designed with microservice architecture or having experience in this field.
• Familiarity with Service-oriented architecture, MVC and REST APIs.
• Experience with composer package manager.
• Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Git.
• Strong sense of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) (Doctrine preferred).

Nice to Have

• Experience in e-money, p2p payment, money transfer or banking operations.
• Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
• Rest API building experience in a mobile application team.
• 1+ years of Hands-on experience on Angular or similar modern frameworks.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaSript, HTML5 and CSS3.

Responsibilities

• Writing well designed, reusable, testable and secure code by applying best software development practices.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability and performant applications.
• Architecting well defined APIs for user facing elements developed by front end developers.
• Collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Participating and conducting code reviews.
• Discovering, learning and implementing new technologies.
