Software Engineer – Fresh Grad [32172]

About the Position:

We are looking for a motivated and curious Fresh Graduate Software Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role based in San Ramon, CA, with two days per week in the office.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining product features under mentorship.
• Write and review clean Java and/or PHP code as you learn from experienced developers.
• Help integrate and test RESTful APIs.
• Participate in team standups, code reviews, and collaborative planning sessions.
• Support quality assurance efforts through testing and debugging.
• Work closely with product and design teams to deliver scalable features.

What We’re Looking For:

• A recent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of Java or PHP through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
• Willingness to learn tools like Spring Boot, Laravel, and modern web development practices.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude.

Nice to Have (but not required):

• Exposure to databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Experience working on cloud platforms or basic front-end technologies (React, HTML/CSS).
