Your Role

The position is to cover the role of Software Engineer for our industry-leading “One Global System”. You will be joining a global team of engineers and analysts; you will design and build products to provide innovative solutions to delight your customers. We want you to help take us to the next level!

Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible to be an active member of the team by not only the delivery of features designed by the analysts but by being creative and innovative in bringing new ideas, software and solutions to the product
  • You strive to deliver clean code that is focused, pleasing to read and well tested
  • Being responsible as part of the team that all software delivered is of the highest possible quality within the constraints imposed by time and money
  • Not afraid to research, learn and implement new technologies and techniques
  • Willing to positively challenge all team members on how the products and processes can be improved

Your Skills And Experiences

  • Provable experience in full stack web development with Python and JavaScript - preferably experience in Django REST framework, vue.js and Elasticsearch
  • Any knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Apache Spark would be useful
  • Thirst, willingness and ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies
  • Strong customer service orientation as this the center of everything we do
  • Team player who cares about delivering the best that they can
  • Good English written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal and communication skills in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated, directed, detail-oriented and result-driven personality
