We are now looking for a
Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics Development
to join our Industrial Waste Services (IWS) platform Finance team.
Together with the IWS Business Finance team, the Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics Development is responsible for leading the IWS platform business analytics and reporting transformation. This role is in the center of establishing a Power BI-based analytics development unit and new operating model.
The new operating model consists of setting up new ways of working together with IT and business stakeholders i.e. developer networks to build best possible solution and balance for agile business driven analytics development and centralized data management. The role also includes setting up request management process and overall analytics practices development. The ultimate goal is to accelerate practices leading to high-performing, scalable, and data-driven organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Business Intelligence – Data & Analytics
- Drive the overall business intelligence i.e. data & analytics and reporting development in IWS platform.
- Develop analytics practices – from data to valuable business insight and foresight
- Support the increase of data literacy and self-service analytics capabilities across business units.
- Hands-on reporting and analytics development including designing, building and training of Power BI reports, dashboards and other analytics solutions
- Development of new Analytics Operating Model
- Coordinate the company-wide network of BI developers to ensure collaboration, quality, and consistency – a collaboration based “center of excellence”
- Seek and define best practices and opportunities for standardization in agile data management and Power-BI development
- Collaborate closely with Group IT to align decentralized analytics initiatives with centralized data management, data architecture, and official data flows
- Establish relevant governance frameworks. Ensure agile development practices complement corporate data governance requirements.
- Support Financial reporting and data flow management
- Support system and data governance practices to ensure financial data quality and consistency across finance systems (ERP – reporting and planning tools – Group consolidation)
- Contribute to develop better user experience of IWS financial reporting
- Drive continuous improvement in financial and operational reporting flows enabling Business Controller to have more focus on business partnering
To be successful in this role, you should be able to influence and coordinate across business functions, drive cultural change toward a more data-driven organization, and ensure operational excellence while fostering innovation. The role demands both strategic thinking and hands-on technical expertise.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Finance, reporting, or analytics roles, with high development orientation
- Extensive hands-on experience and proven track record with Power BI development, including data modeling, report design, and administration
- Knowledge of data warehousing solutions and integrations
- Broad IT architecture know-how is considered a benefit
- Good stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
