DevOps Engineer

Roc Search is currently working with a leading healthcare technology organization that is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team.

As the DevOps Engineer, you'll help architect and maintain our Azure-based cloud infrastructure, automate deployment workflows, and ensure the performance, security, and scalability of our systems. This is a hands-on role requiring deep experience in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related tools
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Monitor system health across development, staging, and production environments
• Automate security, compliance, and operational best practices
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize build, test, and deployment workflows
• Oversee resource provisioning and cost management within Azure
• Set up and maintain observability tools (e.g., Application Insights, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Continuously refine deployment strategies and operational processes

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture
• Proficiency with CI/CD platforms like Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes preferred)
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Experience with monitoring and logging platforms
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and compliance
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, etc.)
• Knowledge of HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar compliance standards
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and cloud database management
• Background in microservices or service-oriented architectures

Recap:

• Location – Fully Remote
• W2 Rate – $55/hr - $60/hr dependent on relevant experience
• Length – Contract to Hire
