About the Role

As a .NET Engineer you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend systems that power our financial services platforms. While expertise in Next.js is not mandatory, familiarity with this technology is highly regarded as we continue to enhance our frontend capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design, implement, and maintain backend services using .NET Core and C# to support business-critical applications.
• API Development: Develop and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between systems and services.
• System Integration: Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with user-facing applications, ensuring a cohesive and efficient user experience.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Utilize AWS services to deploy, monitor, and scale applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, contribute to the adoption of best practices, and engage in ongoing learning to stay current with emerging technologies.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Backend Development: Strong experience with .NET Core, C#, and building scalable web APIs.
• Database Management: Proficiency in working with relational databases such as SQL Server and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git and experience working in a collaborative development environment.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments with tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Desirable Skills

• Frontend Development: Familiarity with Next.js, React, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Cloud Services: Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Testing: Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks.
• Security: Understanding of secure coding practices and data protection regulations.
