There’s pressure in every Project Manager role. But not every Project Manager role will give you the autonomy to get the job done, and the professional satisfaction of creating impactful change in regional communities.

You’ll help modernise classrooms, upgrade public spaces, and ensure critical infrastructure keeps pace with community needs. From classrooms and civic centres to aged care and health infrastructure, your work improves how people live, learn, and connect.

Upgrades that schools and communities rely on.

You’ll lead projects from $1M–$9M across regional and metro NSW, refurbs, extensions, and new builds in places like Inverell, Chatswood, and Newcastle.

The Role

You won’t be babysitting checklists. You’ll be the one setting the bar, leading people, managing high stakes builds, and navigating client relationships with confidence and credibility.

You’ll be the glue between technical delivery and commercial performance.

You’ll need to bring edge too. A background in commercial construction, ideally with 3–5 years in a Project Manager role. A solid understanding of structure, civil’s a bonus, but not essential. You’ll be across the full project lifecycle, from design handover through to delivery, and comfortable navigating complex contracts with clarity.

You won’t be expected to do everything. But you will be expected to lead with confidence, keep people on track, and hold standards high, even when timelines are tight.

When your not out on site, which will only see you travelling through NSW a couple of times a month, you will be sitting in an office with 365-degree views of Newcastle's skyline.

A real incentive for sunsets in winter if I don't say so myself!
