The Program Manager, Critical Minerals is responsible for supporting the successful implementation of the Resources Victoria Critical Minerals Roadmap during an exciting time of delivering on government's critical minerals priorities aimed at safeguarding Victoria's sustainable zero-carbon economic future. This includes establishing and managing governance, document control, scope, schedule management, budget management, quality management, stakeholder engagement, risk and issues management, procurement management, project reporting and evaluation.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in effectively planning, managing and delivering complex projects or programs within the scheduled timeframe, scope and budget as well as experience in program governance, scope and document control requirements, quality assurance, communications, risk management, procurement, milestone tracking, reporting and evaluation.
  • Established conceptual and analytical skills, demonstrated by sound judgement and the ability to think through complex and sensitive issues to deliver high quality solutions that address the needs of diverse interests.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise briefs, reports and other project documentation.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2026. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
