Mid-Level .NET Software Developer

📍 Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using the .NET Framework (VB.NET or C#).
• Build clean, robust backend services and APIs that power large-scale operations.
• Develop responsive, front-end components with ASP.NET MVC, Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs from external services.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, working with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Apply best practices in object-oriented programming and clean architecture.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure quality and performance.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes with Azure DevOps and assist in deployment activities.
• Collaborate across product, implementation, and support teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with .NET (VB.NET or C#) in a professional environment.
• Solid web development skills with ASP.NET MVC and front-end technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, Entity Framework, and writing efficient queries.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
• Familiarity with test-driven development and software testing methodologies.
• A problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills.
• A team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience in enterprise, public sector, or regulated environments (e.g., insurance or fintech).
• Familiarity with Azure services or large-scale deployments.
