THE ROLE
We’re looking for an Integration Engineer with a backend-first mindset, strong cloud infrastructure skills, and enough frontend capability (React Native) to help us bootstrap intelligent AI-powered experiences from end to end.
You’ll be the engineering backbone of our AI Agent development — integrating LLMs into secure production systems, connecting enterprise data (Salesforce, SAP), and helping deploy AI prototypes to real users via app or web. You’ll also help define the dev standards, cloud architecture, and APIs that power Canyon’s next-gen AI experiences.

THE ROLE
We’re looking for an Integration Engineer with a backend-first mindset, strong cloud infrastructure skills, and enough frontend capability (React Native) to help us bootstrap intelligent AI-powered experiences from end to end.
You’ll be the engineering backbone of our AI Agent development — integrating LLMs into secure production systems, connecting enterprise data (Salesforce, SAP), and helping deploy AI prototypes to real users via app or web. You’ll also help define the dev standards, cloud architecture, and APIs that power Canyon’s next-gen AI experiences.
YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW
- Backend Engineering for AI Agents: Build and maintain secure, scalable, production-ready backend services powering Canyon’s AI agents.
- Enterprise Integration: Develop robust API integrations with Salesforce Commerce, Service, and Marketing Clouds, and work closely with our middleware team to interface with SAP.
- Rapid Prototyping: Build fast, functional PoCs to test AI use cases (internal tools, customer-facing features), and turn them into production-grade systems.
- Cloud & Infra-as-Code: Deploy and manage services in Azure, including writing and modifying Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
- Frontend Support (React Native): Implement lightweight frontends and touchpoints for our AI agents when needed, especially in mobile app surfaces.
- Data & Pipeline Development: Interface with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS), support RAG pipeline development, and ensure clean access to business data.
- AI Tech Exploration: Stay curious and hands-on with evolving AI protocols (e.g., Google A2A, Google Agent SDK, AI Studio) and explore how they can be applied to Canyon use cases.

- 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering, preferably in high-scale consumer or SaaS environments
- Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Practical experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure and Terraform
- Comfortable with React Native development — able to deliver basic user interfaces when no dedicated frontend engineer is available
- Proven experience integrating with Salesforce APIs (Commerce Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud)
- Strong understanding of secure API development, OAuth, webhooks, and REST/GraphQL APIs
- Ability to move quickly: prototype → validate → scale, with good engineering hygiene
- Fluent in Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployment practices
- Experience with AI/LLM agents, LangChain, or vector DBs like Pinecone
- Familiarity with Google Cloud AI tools (Vertex AI, AI Studio, Agent SDK)
- Understanding of RAG pipelines and prompt orchestration patterns
- Interest in the intersection of AI, commerce, and user experience
