Software Engineer for Defence Projects

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

You will coordinate a team of developers tasked with the development, architectural design, and verification of a critical software library shared across multiple working groups.

Your responsibilities include:

• Actively participating in new software developments for the library, improving its architecture, and defining verification strategies.
• Assigning tasks and ensuring their completion within set deadlines while maintaining high coding standards.
• Defining the necessary criteria for integrating new functionalities into the library, including coordinating with the technical leads of each project.
• Evaluating potential improvements to existing implementations and discussing their feasibility with project managers or department heads.
  
  

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this role, we are looking for Computer or Software Engineers or similar degrees with prior experience in:

• Programming languages such as C or C++.
• Linux development environments.
• Version control systems like Git.
• Project management tools such as Redmine or Jira.
  
  

Experience in Defense projects and knowledge of continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins) will also be highly valued.
