Infrastructure Engineer (client facing), 80-100%

We are seeking a skilled Solution Engineer (DevOps) with excellent communication skills who enjoys collaborating with and on customer premises. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and configuring Unique's products at client sites on K8s clusters, mostly Azure AKS, some on prem. Together with our customers (Financial Services) you will assess their infrastructure and design tailored solutions for the effective deployment of our engineering artefacts. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with our engineering teams to comprehend product specifications and deployment requirements, design customized solutions, and develop automated deployment processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

This position requires you to live in Switzerland and to have a valid work permit. Travel activity (within and outside Switzerland) varies and can be up to 100% of working days on-site at the client's location. Additional on-call duty is required.

What you need to succeed

• Technical Skills: Strong expertise and extensive hands-on experience with Terraform (9/10), Kubernetes (8/10), Helm (7/10) and Azure (5/10)
• Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 3+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering; or equivalent experience
• Language: Fluent in English, German or French is a plus
