IP/MPLS Product & Solution Manager

Job Description

• Performing presales activities such as solution design and preparation of the technical proposals in data network domain (All kind of TCP/IP Networking). Matching the customer requirements with correct set of products for the RFPs customers issued.
• Participating POC and integration activities.
• Following up ongoing projects, working on customer location in case of need and having meetings with customer in scope of opportunities or ongoing projects.
• Set and manage customers’ expectations; recommend solutions; give technical presentations on business solution issues; write tender RFP’s based on customers’ requirements.
• Prepare HLD document to for post-sales teams
• Frequent customer visit or meeting is part of business for this role.

Qualifications and Experiences

• Understanding of IP networking in fixed and mobile domains.
• Network design or operation experience including fixed or mobile operators.
• Advanced level knowledge and experience of TCP/IP Networking, LAN Switching and dynamic routing protocols.
• Hands on experience in MPLS, WAN, LAN and datacenter networks with preferably experience of working with different vendors.
• Deep understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack and functions (TCP/UDP/L2/Transport layer)
• Knowledge and interest on emerging technologies such as SDN, SD-WAN and vendor roadmaps; ability to balance costs against benefits.
• Team orientated, willing to share knowledge and collaborate with peers.
• Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Confident and professional enough to influence customers in presenting and communicating solutions.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate with customers and other parties in the company who have technical and non-technical roles.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IP networks.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Professional level certification of any vendor with a focus in routing/switching or equivalent level of knowledge and experience is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications and experience
