Chief Technology Officer

We are partnering with a fast-growing, innovation-driven company at the intersection of technology and financial services. Backed by prominent investors and with a presence across APAC, they are now looking to appoint a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead their next phase of growth.

This is a rare opportunity to shape tech strategy at scale while staying close to product and engineering execution.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s long-term technology roadmap aligned to business goals
• Lead and scale distributed engineering teams across multiple geographies
• Drive architectural decisions across infrastructure, application development, data, and DevSecOps
• Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), security, and system scalability
• Partner closely with Product, Data, and Commercial teams to align technology with business impact
• Build high-performance engineering culture with a focus on agility, resilience, and security
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies (AI, platform engineering, privacy-by-design) to drive innovation

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CTO or Head of Engineering in a startup, scale-up, or high-growth tech company
• Deep experience in software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and team leadership
• Track record of building and shipping scalable platforms in complex, fast-moving environments
• Strong communication skills — able to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with modern stacks (e.g. Node.js, React, Kubernetes, microservices)
• Background in fintech, SaaS, B2B platforms, or regulated environments is a strong plus
