Assistant Project Manager – 12 Month Contract - Doha

Location: Doha, Qatar

Duration: 12 Months

Start Date: ASAP

We seek an Assistant Project Manager with a consulting background to support a large-scale public sector transformation project in Qatar. This contract-based opportunity is ideal for someone already residing in Doha with prior experience working with government clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing presentations and capturing meeting notes
• Track actions, monitor progress, and support project reporting
• Understand project management (PM) principles and strategic objectives
• Help deliver awareness workshops related to a new transformation project
• Collaborate closely with a highly experienced Senior Project Leader / Project Manager
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in both Arabic and English

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Project Management, Project Coordination etc
• Strong analytical and customer-facing skills
• Excellent command of English; fluency in Arabic is essential
• Presentable, professional, and culturally aware
• Degree in Business, Engineering, or Technology
• Experience working with government entities in Qatar is preferred.

Additional Details:

• Must be currently based in Qatar
• Strong collaboration and communication skills are required
• PMP Certification will be an advantage
