Middle Data Engineer

N-iX is looking for a Middle Data Engineer for one of our projects. The Client is among the top 100 of Fortune’s Global 500 companies, a leading global supplier of technology and services (Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology). As a Data Engineer you’ll have a chance to improve the quality of life worldwide with products and services that are innovative and spark enthusiasm. You are going to be involved in operations of leading department which is responsible for providing all the relevant data for logistics and supply chain.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of business logic in Data Warehouse according with the specifications.
• Some business analysis required to enable providing the relevant data in a relevant manner.
• Conversion of business requirements into data models.
• Pipelines management.
• Loadings and query performance tuning.
• Working with senior staff on the customer's side who will provide requirements while engineer may propose some own ideas.
  
  

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in development of data base systems (MS SQL/T-SQL)
• Experience with Azure and readiness to work with SQL (up to 80% of time) is a must
• Writing well performing SQL code and investigating, implementing performance measures SVM (Git, ...)
• Data warehousing / dimensional modelling
• Creation and maintenance of Azure DevOps & Azure Data Factory pipelines
• Developing robust data pipelines with DBT
• Working within an Agile project setup
• Upper-intermediate English level
• Upper-Intermediate or higher Ukrainian level
  
  

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Databricks
• Experience with Data Orchestration Tools (Dagster, Airflow etc)
• Unit and data testing
• Knowledge of SAP MM Data structures
• Previous working experience in Supply Chain & Logistics
