BLACKROC is working with a major government client to recruit a UX/UI Designer to join a growing multidisciplinary team. This role is critical in delivering inclusive, accessible, and user-focused design outcomes across multiple digital platforms.
Role Purpose:
As a UX/UI Designer, you'll play a vital role in creating seamless and inclusive digital experiences. You'll collaborate with users, business stakeholders, product teams, and developers to deliver innovative design solutions. If you're passionate about co-design, design systems, and accessible digital experiences—this is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and final UI assets
- Lead usability testing and iterate on design
- Facilitate co-design workshops with stakeholders
- Document and handover detailed design specs
- Champion accessibility standards (WCAG) and design consistency
- Contribute to design systems and reusable components
Essential Criteria:
- 3–5 years' experience as a UX/UI Designer
- Experience facilitating design workshops and testing
- Knowledge of accessibility and WCAG standards
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
Desirable:
- Experience in accessible product design
- Passionate about inclusive user experiences
