One of Melbourne’s leading MSP / ISP is looking for a Junior Voice, data and security Engineer to join their team!

• Located in Melbourne CBD
• On-site, 5 days a week
• $80,000 - $90,000 + Super
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Internet Service Providers, Telecommunications and Fortinet Firewalls
• Experience with VoIP systems including Yealink as well as data management and analysis using Cisco and Mikrotik.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a junior Voice, Data and Security Engineer you will gain an opportunity to develop your skills in Vendor management, configuration of Equipment and Client management. This requires you to bring a level of expertise within communications as you will be client and customer facing. In your day-to-day, you will be responsible for responding to tickets and escalating them when required, responding to emergency support where required.

Leveraging your expertise in telecommunications, Cisco, Fortinet, VoIP, you will support a diverse range of clients across multiple industries. Your ability to Communicate, Triage and Configure will be essential to this role.

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…..

• Minimum 4 years of experience within a Internet Service Provider Environment
• Minimum 4 years experience in Microsoft 365, Cisco, Mikrotik, Fortinet, Yealink
• Ability to confidently communicate and manage customer and client issues and escalate where required
• Driver’s License

IT’S NICE TO HAVE…..

• Fortinet (NSE1) and Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) Certifications
• Can – do Attitude and willingness to learn and develop
