The business unit “Main Line – Mass Transit – Products” is part of Siemens Mobility Belgium NV and offers products, systems, and solutions for different signaling projects in Belgium, mainly for the Belgium Railway.
- Establish a more enforcing and controlling culture, supported amongst others by a dashboard indicating the project progress according to customer/contractual expectations.
- Manage and coach the different project managers involved in different contracts/programs. Work in the matrix organization with these dedicated program/contract structures.
- Have extensive contact with the design team, the materialization team, and the Technical Execution Team.
- Have extensive contact with the Partner Manager responsible for Installation.
- Establish consistent dashboard of plannings of the different projects.
- Distribute the workload and adapt allocation of projects to project managers if and when needed.
- Establish training paths together with the L&D PM coach for Siemens Mobility.
- Establish an environment to store all related data on a sharepoint.
- Sets up and assures financial follow-up of projects together with the CPM Team.
- Improve and document PM related process to gain process automation and efficiency.
- Hands-on experience in electromechanics or ICT.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in all aspects of PMO Management or Project Scheduling.
- Stakeholder Management.
- Risk/Opportunity Management.
- Financial follow-up.
- Managing projects executed according to Cenelec Standard.
- Managing projects in SIL4 environment.
- Technological knowledge about ETCS and or Interlocking projects.
- Knowledge about executing projects on the Belgium Railway.
- Or alternatively exposure to industries of highly regulated nature.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Procedural awareness – Accurately follow processes.
- Language skills: Dutch / French / English, German is an additional asset.
- Feeling for EHS topics (Environment – Health – Safety).
