Our core banking platform is revolutionising the financial services industry. The platform is API-based, consisting of flexible and independent modules covering all retail and business banking capabilities for quick and easy integration.

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer who will help us to disrupt the banking industry and bring innovation to core banking worldwide. As a Software Engineer you’ll play a crucial role in building efficient, flexible and scalable solutions.


What you'll be doing


  • Participate in the full lifecycle of the product: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ensuring the reliability and performance of systems in production.
  •  Produce high-quality, clean, and reliable code in close collaboration with your colleagues.
  • Drive continuous improvement and make recommendations for future developments.
  • Create, maintain, audit, and improve Tuum’s systems to handle high volumes of data processing while maintaining integrity at scale.
  • Research and design innovative concepts.
  • Be a subject matter expert to team members and business users



Our expectations


  • 2+ years of software engineering or software development experience.
  • Proactive mindset, eager to engage in design discussions, think independently, and suggest solutions, even when all details are not explicitly defined in the ticket.
  • Strong background in agile software development and hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
  • Ability to develop in Java (Spring) / JavaScript (React).
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL.
  • Team player who collaborates effectively with others.
  • Understanding of AWS cloud-based solutions would be a bonus.
  • Experience in the financial sector would be a plus
