Mechanics Designer – Public Transport Innovations and Technologies

Now we are looking for a Mechanics Designer to join our team in Forssa or Tampere, Finland. The Mechanics Designer is a member of the design team designing and developing products based on customer and market needs.

Your Primary Duties And Responsibilities Include

• Designing mechanics for railway and outdoor environment
• Material selection
• Product testing and validation
• Product documentation (production, product and customer specific documents)
• Support our customer project teams in material and mechanics related topics
  
  

As a Mechanical Designer, you will bring your expertise to product development and customer projects. You will use 3D design tool to create designs and support our customer project teams by providing product information for their projects.

To Succeed As a Mechanics Designer, You Will Need

• Mechanical engineering background with some years’ experience
• Good knowledge of 2D and 3D engineering software such as SolidWorks and PDM as well as std. office applications
• Passion for technologies and product development
• Good team working spirit.
• Systematic working method
• Knowledge of sheet metal and aluminum profile design
• Material understanding related for Fire and Safety is an asset
• Fluent English language skills
