What You Can Expect

The newly formed Commercial Data & Insights team is responsible to establish and lead the EMEA commercial data strategy, to provide business with timely, impactful insights for strategic decision-making and monitoring of business performance. This team plays a critical role in the digital and data transformation of Zimmer Biomet, enhancing the way we do business internally, and with our customers.

This team is currently looking for a Power BI Process & Data Lead. This role focuses on supporting commercial team members by managing and resolving Power BI-related enquiries, maintaining effective communication channels, ensuring data quality, and enhancing user experience. It involves cross-functional coordination, development of self-service tools and resources, and continuous improvement of data processes and reporting mechanisms

How You'll Create Impact

Reporting Operations & Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Power BI-related enquiries from commercial team members, addressing issues related to data definitions, inconsistencies, and update processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, FP&A, Controllership, Customer Experience) to resolve data and reporting issues efficiently.
• Develop and maintain a centralized FAQ and communication platform to share training materials, data definitions, and Power BI updates.
• Enable self-service capabilities for commercial teams to track updates on territories, targets, and accounts.
• Monitor and analyze data quality issues, reporting trends and recurring mismatches to support governance and continuous improvement.
• Capture feedback to development teams to enhance Power BI usability and visualization based on user insights.
• Participate in the Monthly Cross Functional Data Governance calls to and support in following up actions with other functions, report out status to Steering Committee members & senior management.
  
  

Power BI Dashboard Maintenance and Development

• Maintain and enhance existing Power BI dashboards and reports within the EMEA Data & Insights scope.
• Design and develop new dashboards, integrating multiple data sources while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to visualize outcomes of advanced analytics initiatives.
• Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, usability, and user experience.
  
  

What Makes You Stand Out

• BSc or MSc holder in the field of business administrations, science, engineering, public health or a comparable education
• At least 5 years’ experience, preferably as a Business Intelligence or Data Analyst, within a multi-national environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of engaging executive audiences and supporting strategic decision-making. (Communication & Stakeholder Engagement)
• Proven background in business operations within a commercial organization, with strong project management and execution capabilities (Commercial & Operational Experience).
• Skilled in Power BI support, troubleshooting, and managing a portfolio of reports, including communication of releases and maintaining a knowledge library (Power BI Expertise).
• Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, mining, and analysis, coupled with a strong orientation toward process improvement and problem-solving (Data & Analytical Skills)
• Comfortable in fast-paced, team-based environments, with a flexible mindset and eagerness to learn across functional areas (Adaptability & Team Collaboration)
• Is aware of the legal requirements and corporate guidelines with respect to electronic data records.
