Full Stack Developer (SaaS Startup)

Salary: €60,000-€65,000, bonus and benefits

I am recruiting for an incredible Tech startup building a very unique product in highly profitable aircraft leasing space.

This role is one of two development hires to be made this quarter with further hires across the business later in 2025.

Role Overview:

You will play a crucial role in designing, building, and optimising our clients' cloud-based analytics platform.

Working at the intersection of business, technology, and data science, you will continue to develop our innovative solution that empowers our customers to make data-driven decisions in the aviation sector.

You will drive the development of scalable, high-performance software and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute towards the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications and cloud-based solutions.
• Drive the development of high-quality software, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and security.
• Optimise platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Adhere to, and further develop DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud deployment.
• Maintain and enhance the system architecture to support business growth and technological advancements.

• Follow industry best practices in software engineering, including Agile, DevOps, and cloud-native development.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure that software solutions are aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
• Continuously seek feedback to improve user experience and functionality.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in commercial software engineering, ideally in multiple roles/indsutries
• Strong proficiency in Python or other modern programming languages
• Strong understanding of cloud-based platforms, security, and architecture. They use Azure.
• Strong database background, including cloud databases and ORM frameworks (SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience in developing web applications and APIs using frameworks such as Flask.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies.
• Previous experience in aviation, finance, or data-driven SaaS is beneficial but not required.

Candidates must have a Stamp 4 Visa/Stamp 1G Spousal Visa or hold and EU Passport and be based in Ireland for this role
