Software Engineer

Sofware Developer - Cloud & Infrastructure - 6 months contract + - Limerick, Ireland

We’re hiring a Cloud & Infrastructure Developer to join a forward-thinking team in a leading pharmaceutical and MedTech organization. This team is building a modern, cloud-native platform using Azure, Kubernetes, and Mendix, with a strong focus on security, scalability, and automation.

You’ll work on infrastructure development, system integrations, and low-code tools in a regulated, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable infrastructure services using Golang
• Build integrations across distributed systems
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Use RabbitMQ (or similar) for asynchronous workflows
• Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and team discussions
• Manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar tools
• Ensure solutions meet security and compliance standards

Your Profile:

• 4–5+ years of software development experience
• Strong skills in Golang (or other languages with willingness to learn Go)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (especially AKS)
• Familiar with DevOps tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi)
• Strong scripting in Bash, Python, or similar
• Knowledge of Git workflows, agile delivery, and clean coding practices
