💶 Rate: Up to €100 per hour

We’re hiring a Data Scientist II for an exciting contract opportunity at a leading global tech company based in Amsterdam. You’ll take full ownership of the design and delivery of impactful data science solutions - turning raw data into actionable insights that drive product and business strategy.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Data Craftsmanship: Work with diverse data sources to build clean, insightful datasets and data stories.
• Experimental Design: Lead A/B and quasi-experiments, applying causal inference techniques (DID, propensity scoring, synthetic controls).
• Analytical Excellence: Use statistical modeling, Bayesian methods, time-series analysis, and machine learning to surface signals and drive decision-making.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner across product, engineering, and leadership teams to align on priorities and communicate insights effectively.
• Mentorship & Innovation: Share best practices in code quality, reproducibility, and scalability while mentoring junior team members and exploring new methods.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Fluency in SQL and proficiency in Python or R.
• Strong experience applying causal inference and advanced statistical techniques to real-world problems.
• Excellent storytelling skills - able to present complex findings in clear, actionable formats.
• Master’s degree (or higher) in a quantitative field: Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.
• A proven track record of delivering end-to-end data science solutions independently.
