AWS Cloud Engineer

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, deploying, and managing highly available cloud-based infrastructure across multi-cluster and multi-region AWS environments. You’ll work with a high-performing DevOps and infrastructure team to streamline CI/CD, enhance resilience, and drive deployment automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based deployments with a high degree of automation, scalability, and resilience. You will play a key role in streamlining deployment workflows, ensuring high availability, and enabling continuous delivery across distributed environments.

• Python, Gradle, Unix/Linux

Responsibilities Include:

• Deploy and manage scalable AWS infrastructure across clusters and regions
• Optimize and secure Kubernetes clusters using Helm and Cilium
• Automate deployment pipelines with Harness, Jenkins, and GitLab
• Configure and manage Kafka in a distributed cloud setup
• Develop infrastructure automation tools using Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Troubleshoot performance, availability, and security issues
• Apply best practices in DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure roles
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Helm
• Deployment orchestration experience (preferably with Harness)
• Solid background with Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, Unix/Linux
• Python scripting for automation and tooling
• Familiar with DevSecOps practices and build tools like Gradle

Nice to Have:

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
• Experience with Terraform or service mesh technologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
