Ground&Rail Operations Transportation Procurement Manager

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Developing the purchasing processes to global standards,
• Supporting the local team,
• Leading/supporting country teams to develop alternative operation and procurement models, supporting initiatives that will increase resource diversity, coordinating studies with local teams to improve this,
• Conducting field research following the tender announcements from the Business Development unit; establishing the cost basis based on the available resources and the established work construction,
• Developing efficiency projects by working closely with operations in the field to capture synergy opportunities in existing business processes,
• Developing new transportation resources and creating opportunities to improve resource diversity by working in coordination with operations,
• Procuring the contracted carrier resource needed by the projects at the beginning of the project; Ensuring a start that is compatible with the project, in line with the operation and customer expectations,
• Working in coordination with operations to meet the additional resource and change needs of existing projects,
• Carrying out the transporter contract processes in coordination with the legal department,
• Coordinating the Financial Affairs Department and the Transport Purchasing Department, coordinating the supplier-CEVA financial affairs relationship in the invoicing and payment processes,
• Ensuring quality management system requirements,
• Monitoring and reporting department KPIs and developing processes according to their outputs,
• Management of transporter contracts, system development needs analysis, project coordination with IT,
• Developing transportation cost-saving projects, monitoring and reporting the results with stakeholders.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be assigned as Transportation Procurement Manager in Ground&Rail Operations Department, located in our Istanbul Headquarter,

• Graduated from related departments of universities,
• At least 10 years of experience in the field of Domestic Transport
• Proficient in MS Office programs,
• Strong planning and organizational skills,
• Advanced level in English,
• No travel restrictions,
• Candidates who are prone to teamwork and strong communication are sought.
