Senior Frontend Developer - React

Job Role:

As our new Senior Frontend Developer - React, you'll become an integral member of our dedicated team. You will play a pivotal role in writing clean, efficient code and managing larger projects. You will have the opportunity to leverage your technical skills to create robust products for our partners, mentor other engineers, and contribute to the growth of startups supported by noteworthy venture capitalists and accelerators like 500 Startups, Skydeck, and Alchemist.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in software engineering, preferably with large, well-maintained codebases
• Strong JavaScript development skills, understanding of ES6, and proficiency in React
• Familiarity with HTML5 constructs, CSS3, and the DOM
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating a cohesive user experience
• The ability to balance moving quickly with producing sustainable code
• Solid understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
• Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Proficient understanding of OWASP security principles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies

Nice to Have:

• Experience working for a SaaS company
• Familiarity with common backend service languages such as Python, NodeJS
• Experience with Next.js
