Project Overview

As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will join our team working with an innovative Swedish gaming company. We are building a robust, high-performance platform from the ground up to handle millions of daily transactions and bets. This platform requires unique optimizations, such as low-bandwidth game compatibility, offering complex engineering challenges for scalability, security, and efficiency. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of gaming with a skilled, multinational team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable backend solutions in .NET, using microservices architecture.
  • Optimize the gaming platform for high-volume transactions, ensuring performance and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance feature functionality and improve user experience.
  • Participate in agile processes, including sprint planning and code reviews, contributing to a high-quality, maintainable codebase.
  • Mentor and support team members, contributing to a collaborative and innovative work culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with strong expertise in .NET.
  • Deep understanding of software and systems architecture, particularly with microservices and event-driven systems.
  • Experience in building highly scalable applications for high-transaction environments.
  • Strong coding standards for quality, performance, and scalability.
  • Fluent English at C1 level or higher.
  • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to team success.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in cloud environments, ideally Azure.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with the ELK Stack (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana).
