We are looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our mobile engineering team. As an Android Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative mobile applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure Android applications that deliver a superior user experience.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Android SDK and Java/Kotlin.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in alignment with user needs and business goals.
Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code with attention to performance and responsiveness.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
Maintain code quality, organization, and automation in compliance with development standards and best practices.
Stay updated on Android development trends and emerging technologies.
Implement strong Android Security measures to protect user data and privacy.
Monitor and optimize app performance, reliability, and battery usage.
Participate in regular code reviews, unit testing, and release processes.
Work with third-party APIs, libraries, and Android frameworks to accelerate development cycles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

2 to 9 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
Deep understanding of Android SDK, Android design principles, and best practices.
Experience in building and deploying mobile applications to Google Play Store.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of mobile app architecture patterns like MVVM or MVP.
Understanding of Android Security practices including encryption, data storage, and permissions.
Good understanding of material design and mobile UI/UX standards.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Experience with push notifications, in-app purchases, and analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Exposure to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools for mobile.
Hands-on experience with Jetpack components, AndroidX libraries, and Firebase.
Familiarity with performance monitoring tools like Android Profiler or LeakCanary.
Knowledge of unit and instrumentation testing frameworks like JUnit, Espresso
