We’re looking for a proactive, product-focused Android developer who’s excited to take on multiple responsibilities and ship features that bring joy to users and value to restaurants. You’ll join a team where you’ll have real influence, wide scope, and room to grow in a fun and rewarding environment. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing, and building advanced applications for the Android platform, resolving bugs, improving application performance, and implementing new features.

• Strong proficiency in Android development
• Proficient with Java and Kotlin
• Strong understanding of Software Development principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• You’ve shipped apps to Google Play
• You love building beautiful, smooth, pixel-perfect UIs
• Proficient in creating practical and fun user interfaces
• Confident working with native APIs and creating performant implementations
• Experience with REST and GraphQL
• Solid grasp of performance tuning and debugging
• Comfortable working in Git
• Proficient in automated testing
• Familiar with modern app architectures and design patterns
• A proactive mindset, ready to roll up your sleeves
  

• Have experience with AWS (S3, AppSync, API Gateway, Lambda, etc.)
• Have experience in building automated CI/CD pipelines
• Love food, restaurants, and dining out
  

• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of proven commercial experience as an Android Developer
• Full working rights in Australia
