We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our team for an initial 6-month engagement, based in Melbourne.

This role will be part of the Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, working across the transformation stream, but also the entire business as required.

We are looking for an all-rounder, someone with a broad set of skills, but more importantly someone who is keen to learn and can pick up new skills. Our client is a large Australian Energy business who are in the midst of a company wide transformation.

• Location: Melbourne - Hybrid

About the role:

• Cloud Security Experience – the client is building a new environment on Azure but happy to consider experience with other cloud platform
• Firewalls – currently undergoing move to Fortinet Firewalls
• Security Testing, Application Whitelisting, Vulnerability scanning, 3rd party assessment
• Experience with threat and vulnerability informed Cyber Security Risk Assessments
• Identification and remediation of threats and vulnerabilities
• Increasing security awareness and education of personnel
• Incident Response Team experience
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as ASD Essential 8, NIST or ISO2700
• Energy Sector Cyber Security knowledge
