Technical skills (Must haves)

• Core understanding of JavaScript.
• Strong experience with React v18 and TypeScript.
• Good backend knowledge with Node.js & Knowledge of REST API development.
• Cloud AWS services and Microservices development
• Experience with frontend testing (preferably React Testing Library)
• Ability to write and debug scripts (Python or equivalent) for automation tasks
• MySQL 5 and migrating to 7 knowledge. Redis,
• Advanced understanding of SQL and the ability to write efficient, performant queries.
• Proven ability to contribute the architectural design of moderately complex systems
• Solid understanding of OO design, languages, algorithms, data structures, networking, database design and optimization

Technical skills (Nice to haves)

• Experience with Bubble.io
• Previous experience in fintech or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with Metabase or similar BI tools
• Interest in improving internal documentation and processes

• Self-starter attitude and versatility in a small, fast-moving team
• Pragmatic mindset when dealing with legacy systems
• UX awareness and the confidence to suggest design improvements
• Comfortable experimenting with AI tools to optimize productivity
  
  

We’re currently refactoring a legacy codebase and planning the architecture for a new, more scalable frontend, So React v18 is the required skills but at the same time legacy code with prior version must be maintained and migrated.
