DevOps/Data Integration Engineer (SSIS & Windows Systems)

Context

A global organisation is urgently seeking a DevOps/Data Integration Engineer to support and enhance systems integration efforts across physical security systems. The role emphasizes SSIS development (2019 or later) and Windows Server-based application integration, with elements of ETL, system troubleshooting, and light DevOps/sysadmin support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SSIS packages for interfacing between SQL Server 2019 environments
• Design and manage ETL pipelines transforming flat files and SQL Server data
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and lifecycle management of Windows-based third-party applications (e.g. security systems)
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to identify and resolve networking or server-related issues
• Define, test, and support application behavior during lift-and-shift migrations to private cloud (IBM-based)
• Participate in on-call rotation for system issues (camera systems, badging, server restarts); training and runbook provided
• Own full application lifecycle: deployments, incident management, and vendor updates

Required Skills

• Strong SSIS (2019 or later): Must have built and supported packages from scratch
• Solid experience with SQL Server 2019
• Familiarity with ETL processes and flat file transformations
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server (2019) administration & troubleshooting
• Strong grasp of networking basics and firewall/integration principles
• PowerShell or similar Windows scripting tools
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); Dutch/French are nice-to-haves

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with SSRS, Power BI or Boomi
• Exposure to physical security systems (e.g. Nedap AEOS, Milestone)
• Prior participation in cloud migration projects (even if only as app tester)
